Liturgical Question Empty Liturgical Question

Post by Benedict John-Paul Wed Apr 23, 2008 4:38 am

I asm kind of confused. In the magazine "The Word Among Us" they have a Liturgy area where I can follow the readings while watching the Mass on EWTN. As some of you know, I can't make Mass bexcause of disabilities and being in the nursing facility. Well, I am wondering if it is just me or what, but it seems that the last two days EWTN has gotten off track. They have been reading something diffrent than what is in the Liturgy.

No idea! Perhaps you're viewing an Encore edition of the Mass? What time are you watching the Mass?

I usually record it live in the mornings and watch when I have time that day, so it was still that day.

Sometimes there is a choice of readings. Also, there are optional memorials. EWTN may be celebrating the memorial while your guide has the mass for the week day.

That is a thoughht, but I am also wondering if diffrent Parrishes read diffrent reading during the year. Example: St. Pat's reads year a and St. John's reads year b.

I don't think that's permitted...
